Implement procurement
 
Establish and improve supplier files, keep at least 3 suppliers of the same type of supplies, conduct investigation and evaluation on the qualifications, reputation and business varieties of suppliers, and ensure that the procurement of supplies is both economical and more efficient. To ensure the quality, the quality of the supplies must be put first; according to the procurement situation, suppliers are regularly evaluated and recorded, and qualified suppliers are screened out through long-term cooperation. When the procurement plan is implemented, inquiries are made to qualified suppliers, and it is generally required to inquire from more than 2 qualified suppliers. Consumables acceptance

The management department is responsible for the acceptance of the specifications, grades, quantities, shelf life and quality certification documents of consumables. The user department is responsible for the acceptance of the quality of the consumables, and should formulate corresponding documents to guide the acceptance of the key consumables.
 
For example, measuring glass utensils such as graduated straws, measuring cylinders, and volumetric flasks consume a lot of money in the laboratory. It is impossible to test every glass utensil in our actual work, but at least one set of certified utensils should be reserved for purchasing. The measurement glass instruments are compared and accepted to confirm that the accuracy of the purchased glass instruments is within the controllable range;
 
The hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, and sulfuric acid used for trace element detection should be checked by the instrument for background interference; the organic solvent used in chromatography should be checked by the instrument for interference at the target peak; the microbial culture medium can be negative or positive. The laboratory water can be inspected and accepted according to the national standard GB6682-2008 "Analysis of Laboratory Water Specifications and Test Methods" for the corresponding grade requirements.
 
Misunderstandings that are prone to occur in the procurement and acceptance work. Some laboratory supply acceptance is a mere formality, while some laboratories pass the acceptance of a certain brand once and think that the future purchases do not need to be accepted again;
 
Some laboratories believe that well-known reagents produced by large factories are no problem, and they are suitable for all testing work. In fact, no matter how good a product is, there is a fluctuation range of the pass rate and quality index. We overly believe that the product quality of the enterprise is 100% and neglect the acceptance. This is an extremely irresponsible behavior for the inspection work, and it will help our inspection work. Work carries certain risks. Therefore, unaccepted or unqualified consumables cannot be put into the warehouse, and only those that have passed the acceptance can be put into the consumables warehouse, and an inventory account is established.
 
Receiving consumables
 
When the consumables are used, the management department and the user department shall make the handover of the consumables and make a record of the delivery. Strictly implement the principle of receiving as-needed drugs, measuring and recording, and returning the remainder. Bottled consumables should be kept in stock at the place of use, and the use department will return the old bottles (empty bottles) to the warehouse when receiving new consumables. Empty bottles returned from the warehouse are entrusted by the laboratory to qualified units for processing.
